Vehicle Overview

This Hertz Shelby is the 257th example of the 500 built, and is likely the most collectible car on the market. It was upgraded to 325 horsepower and given the full Shelby treatment at the Shelby factory in Las Vegas. It went into the Hertz Florida rental fleet. It is important to note that these cars were not distributed to Ford dealers for public distribution and were only available exclusively through Hertz, making this and incredibly rare opportunity to acquire this modern collectible.

To give the car additional stiffness, a stylish light bar and supplemental bracing was added to the convertible. Racing Performance Group's Power Pack (FR1) kick up the 4.6L V-8/Five-speed automatic transmission power train to 325 horsepower. To put that extra power to the ground, the Ford Shelby GT-H also has the Ford Racing Handling Pack (FR3) including special-tuned dampers, lowering springs, sway bars and a strut tower brace ? plus a 3.55:1 ratio rear axle assembly for extra off-the-line acceleration. We reserve the right to end this listing at anytime should the vehicle no longer be available for sale. The following terms of sale apply to all of our auctions.

Payment Terms:

The successful high bidder will submit a 10% non-refundable deposit within 2 business days of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle. Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 5 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle. Any problems, issues or claims must be made within 24 hours of delivery or receipt of vehicle. Please be advised that you are bidding on a pre-owned vehicle, which has been previously driven and has been subjected to normal wear and tear, both cosmetically and mechanically. We attempt to recondition all vehicles prior to offering them for sale. We describe all vehicles as accurately as possible, however there is no possible way to include all minute details and imperfections. Since this is a pre-owned vehicle, we may or may not have all keys, books, floor mats etc... If you are expecting a pre-owned vehicle to be absolutely perfect please do not bid!

Fees and Taxes:

All buyers will pay a $249.00 Dealer Fee. The Dealer Conveyance fee applies to all retail sales regardless of the buyers State of Residence. New York State buyers will be charged the appropriate County tax according to there tax rates. Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered.
